"Women are like teabags. We don't know our true strength until we're in hot water."
+ name: Mindy Lahiri.
+ age: 26.
+ birthday / astrological sign: May 16/ Taurus

+ likes: tequila, lime, retail therapy, glitter, parties, getting drunk (but not while on call), early morning, coffee, being in control, etc.

+ dislikes: her stepmom, scrubs, idiots, relationships, rain, housework, romance, clingy men, spray tans, liars, snuggling, sweet foods, etc.

+ appearance: Naturally tan, glowing skin. Tall, slender and fierce. Brown eyes with specks of green and long brown wavy/curly hair.
+ height: 5’9

+ personality: fierce, bitchy, outgoing, loyal, courageous, confident, spoiled, fun-loving, sometimes reckless, intelligent, sarcastic, honest, sophisticated, etc.

+ bio: You know the girl that was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and never had to work a day in her life? Yeah, that’s Mindy all right. She was raised by an army of nannies, in London, while her single father kept busy with his business and many who/res, one of which he married. Growing up, all Mindy had ever wanted was a little love, affection and attention from her father, not his money. As a child she got his attention by crying and shouting, in her teen years she began to rebel. This meant parties, alcohol, boys and lots of se/x. However, her father was too preoccupied to truly care. Once she started college at the infamous Oxford University, she realized there would never be a relationship with her father. So she took what she had, her looks, brains and of course daddy’s plastic, and made the best of it. Mindy finished her undergrad and med school at Oxford and had even planned to stay in London. This was until she found out her father got remarried and his new, and very young, wife was expecting. The thought of that sickened her and the day after graduating med school, she immediately packed her bags and headed to Seattle where her aunt (mother’s sister) lived. She would have preferred New York City, or Los Angeles, but Seattle will have to do, especially since she has gotten an internship at one of the best hospitals.

+ surgical specialty: plastic surgeon.

+ family:
-Raj Lahiri {Father}: Raj had never been good with kids and after the death of his wife, he had no idea as to how to raise Mindy. Not to mention how scared he felt. So he thought he was doing the best he could by giving her everything she wanted, not knowing she just wants her father.
-Priya Lahiri {Mother}: Died when Mindy was only three years old.
-Zarine Lahiri {Step-mother}: Mindy despises her, but Zarine isn’t all that bad. She’s tried bringing the family together on multiple occasions but both father and daughter don’t try.

+ past / current relationships:
A few ex-boyfriends here and there, but Mindy isn’t a relationship kind of girl. She wants a no strings attached relationship with no emotional connections.

Hazel walked into her office and set her things down as she sat back into her chair. She had been out for three days covering a news story in the middle east and was more than excited to be home. But more than anything she was excited to be able to spend some time with Malcom, who she hadn't seen in almost a week since he too had been busy. Hazel picked up her phone and quickly texted him reminding him to meet her at her office.

"There are two kinds of women: those who want power in the world, and those who want power in bed."
Olivia "Liv" Sinclair (25)
Hometown: Augusta, Georgia.
Current City: Seattle, Washington
Occupation: Surgical Intern at Seattle Grace

Likes: hospitals, early mornings, lipstick, statement jewelry, healthy foods, flats, dresses, organization, being in charge, sunny days, early mornings, baking, small soirees, etc.

Dislikes: being judged, slackers, stress, late nights, hangovers, coffee, failure, fast food, fake tans, cigarettes, chipped nail polish, loud music, large raging parties, etc.

Bio: Olivia is the epitome of southern belle; she’s classy, charming, sweet but also has the right amount of sass and attitude. Ever since she was a child she has always been mistaken as a ditzy blonde with daddy’s plastic. As a result she is always proving to the world that she is much more than just a pretty face in the crowd. However, being known as the head cheerleader, prom queen, and a pageant girl didn’t really help her case. To her defense, she did a majority of those things at her mother’s request. She surprised everyone when she graduated at the top of her class at Vanderbilt and was accepted to med school at Johns Hopkins. If she had followed her parent’s plans once she graduated she would marry her now ex-boyfriend and become the housewife she was raised to be. Liv wanted anything but that, so when she was offered a position at the infamous Seattle Grace how could she refuse? She packed her bags and literally moved cross country.

Story:
As it got closer to eight o’clock my heart pounded faster and faster. At this rate my blood pressure would be 150/90 and I would practically be in hypertension…which was nothing something I wanted today. Today, being the first day and one of the most important days of my surgical career. “A chai tea latte please” I told the barista with a grin when my turn came in line. Yes, I was nervous, but I’m equally just as happy.

After grabbing the cup off the counter, I headed down the city street. Perks of living in the heart of Seattle is that I’m just a few blocks away from anything…including the hospital. I took a sip of my tea and looked down at my phone reading some of the good luck messages and emails I had received. But before I could reply I was met with a fast bump from behind which resulted in me dropping my phone and the tea, which consequently spilled all over me.

“What the hell? Are you blind?!” I shouted looking down and then up at a sweaty guy in a t-shirt and running shorts.

“Oh god, I’m so sorry” He took out his ear buds, frowned and quickly reached down to pick up the cup and my phone.

“Sorry?” I scoffed, snatching the phone from his hand and throwing the cup away in a trashcan. “You’ve got to be kidding me” I groaned as I felt my anxiety levels rising again. “Today is the most important day in my life and you have managed to ruin it in less than a second” I said angrily, adding a few other unspeakable words as I brushed past him.

7:56 AM
After a detour back to my apartment, I had quickly cleaned myself up and barely managed to reach the hospital in time for the intern “orientation”.

I stepped off the elevator on the second floor and headed towards conference room A where all the new interns were supposed to be meeting with the chief, attendings and residents.

I slipped into the door and found myself among a group of fifteen or so, all who were chatting quietly in their groups. I talked to a few of the interns but that was only for a few seconds because a moment later the chief walked in.

“Good morning everyone.” The room got silent and turned their attention to him. “As most of you know, I’m Dr. Webber” He gave a speech about the hospital and his expectations and rules for us before introducing us to the attendings and residents we would be working with. “Today is an easy day for you all, but don’t expect it after this. You’ve all been partnered with a few of the other interns and are going to shadow your residents today. The lists are on that desk along with your pagers. Get them and go.”
I’ll finish later I promise!

♔ FRIDAY 8 MARCH
There is rarely an evening where the socialites don't have an in demand event to attend to. However, tonight is one of those rare evenings. The girls are given a free night to connect with their beau's or best friends. It is strongly suggested to snag reservations at one of the hot spots or make slumber plans. You still want to be noticed darlings so don't go lazing around at home!

“How is it that even when we get a day off from the chaos of UES events, we’re still busy?” I took a long sip of my hazelnut macchiato as I flipped through my planner on the table. It was 7 o’clock in the morning and Starbucks was bustling with people coming in and out.

Ava nodded and groaned. “Don’t remind me” She said drinking some of her latte. “On top of everything I have to do at work, I’m doing lunch with Vanessa, Mia and Tessa, then grabbing coffee, again, with Sutton and let’s not forget dinner tonight with all of the girls” She paused and sternly looked at me. “Including you. No excuses”

“I promise I’ll be there!” I assured her. “Plus I have plans after dinner not before”

“No!...” She gaped and looked at me with wide eyes as I nodded. “You’re meeting up with that mystery guy?”

“His name is Nicolas; he’s the son of a Spanish diplomat and also an investment banker. And yes I am” I smirked at her as I took another sip of my macchiato. Nicolas and I had met for lunch the day after the ball and had a great time. Such a great time that we decided to go for drinks tonight.

“Charlotte, you’re walking on thin ice. What if Aiden finds out?”

I shrugged. “It’s not like anything‘s going to happen, plus it’s just harmless flirting.” I paused. It was harmless now but I have no idea as to what will happen when someone does get hurt. “I think” I bit my lip and looked at her. “But enough about me how are you and Tyler?”

From the expression on her face, I could tell she was hurt by whatever was going on between them. “I don’t know” She sighed deeply. “Everything’s good one minute and then up in the air the next. I just want a normal, drama free relationship. Is that too much to ask for?!” She laughed.

I smiled mischievously at her as I finished my drink. “Nothing normal or drama free exists in the UES and I doubt it will ever”
-----
“I think you need a another drink "Sutton said to Ava right as I walked into our private lounge at our usual restaurant.

I smirked. "I guess I read everyone’s mind" I walked towards the end of the table with a waiter following behind me carrying a tray of drinks.

"We can always count on Charlotte" Vanessa said winking as I sat down at the empty seat next to her. I looked around the table and noticed Amelie sitting next to Mia, which due to recent events wasn’t a surprise. I rolled my eyes as I heard them laughing to an inside joke.
“Why is she here?” I whispered in Vanessa’s ear.

“Mia” She said quietly. “She tagged along to lunch this afternoon too” I never had anything against Amelie, until she decided to try and snatch my bestfriend away from me. I knew that sounded like something a highschooler would say, but it was true and I clearly wasn’t the only one who thought that either.

“So what have you ladies been up to today?” I asked no one in particular as I took a sip of my mojito.

“Amelie and I have practically spent the whole day together!” Mia gushed, not noticing V and I rolling our eyes together in unison. “Got our nails done, went to lunch with V, Ava and Tessa, shopping at Barneys, the usual” I tried hiding my frown as I was a little angry. /Usually/ those were things she and I did together.

“Sounds like so much fun!” I said sarcastically as my eyes met with Amelie’s. I faked a smile at her before drowning the rest of my drink. I was definitely going to need a few more of those.
-----
“Sorry I’m late” I said, trying to catch my breath. I hugged Nicolas lightly and then sat down across from him. “Dinner ran a little late than usual”

He looked at me with an amused expression as I gathered myself. “And here I was thinking that you might have stood me up” He added a smile that almost had me swooning and his accent was definitely not helping.

I fake gasped and placed my hand over my chest. I was only over dramatic when I was drunk, and in this case it was safe to say I was close to being there. “I could never!” I giggled as a waiter brought over a piece of cheesecake with two forks and poured Nic and I two glasses of Chardonnay. After wine and dessert, Nic and I were a little too drunk to go home so we decided to get a room and sleep it off. If I hadn’t been so drunk I would have known better than to think that either of us was getting sleep tonight.

Nic and I entered the elevator, our fingers loosely intertwined, and stood on one side of the elevator facing each other. The other side was occupied by a blonde couple making out. Just as Nic was about to kiss me, I heard a familiar voice whisper Sutton’s name which immediately caused me to turn towards the couple. That was Sutton and the guy turned out to be Nathaniel. I gasped which caused Sutton to pull away and look directly at me.

We both had expressions of shock plastered on our faces. We had both just gotten caught red handed. However, what happened next was a total surprise. We exchanged a look which translated into the both of keeping this whole thing a secret. And without a word, the problem was solved.
-----
I stirred at the sound of running water and slowly opened my eyes to a bright beam of sunlight. Thinking I had overslept I abruptly woke up and realized I wasn’t in my bedroom or for that matter my home. I jerked the covers off, not realizing that my clothes were on the floor, and then wrapped myself in them again. After dinner with the girls everything else seemed like blur, but I still recalled faint memories of what happened between Nic and I.

Without thinking I stood up still wrapped in the sheets and quickly put on my clothes. I had to get out of there before Nicolas got out of the shower and things became extremely awkward. I tiptoed out of the door, closing it ever so quietly and headed out. As I got in the elevator I pulled out my phone and hit speed dial to call Vanessa.

“Hello. Charlotte? You do realize its 7 o’clock in the morning right?” She faintly said yawning over the phone.

“V--I think I just made the biggest mistake of my life” I bit my lip and took a deep breath in as I started to fill her in on the details of my eventful night, leaving out the part about Sutton and Nathaniel.

Name: Lady Fleur Vionett

Age: 25.

Why they are at Court: Wife of French Ambassador Sébastien Vionett

Relationship: Married

Bio: Fleur was born into an upper class family. Her parents are Lord Collin Dashwood, an English man who owns one of England’s finest wineries, and Lady Jacqueline, the daughter of a French nobleman. The couple was blessed with three beautiful daughters whom they loved dearly, but there was something missing: an heir. And before Jacqueline could give birth to one, she died from illness. Lord Dashwood was a great father, but didn’t have an idea on how he was going to raise three daughters alone. Since the girls were still young, he decided to get remarried. This way his daughters would have a mother and he would have another chance of having a boy. His new wife was a nightmare for the three daughters not to mention she was also a gold digger. Lord Dashwood was a naïve and kind hearted man and so he fell into Evelyn’s trap.

From the moment Evelyn married Lord Dashwood she made her step-daughters’ lives a living hell. She stripped the girls of their finer things like jewels and made them work around the house, something they had never done, and even took away things their mother had left them. After Evelyn gave birth to the Dashwood heir, she was more than ecstatic since her son would now get everything. After the birth of her son Evelyn wanted the three girls and especially Fleur, since she was the closest to her father, out of the house immediately. The only way to do this was to get them married off.

Fleur and Sébastien Vionett met when she was only fourteen years old at the wedding of her second sister; he was much older than her, specifically twelve years older. Sébastien was taken by her beauty and wanted only her as his wife. However because she was so young Lord Dashwood wanted to wait a few more years before giving his youngest daughter away. Sébastien agreed so he and Fleur were betrothed to be married when she turned sixteen. She was nervous about getting married, but happy to be getting away from her stepmother. At that time Sébastien was her knight in shining armor; that was until she literally met her knight in shining armor.

Fleur met Sir James Covington, a knight and close friend of the King, when she was at a ball with her friends. One meeting led to another and so began their love affair. However, it was too late for the both of them as he was already married and she was betrothed. So despite loving each other, they both continued in their loveless marriages. After being married, Fleur and James continued to meet in secrecy and still do. In the chaos of the court no one seems to notice their occasional absences, but due to recent events that might change. Fleur has two children a girl, who is five years old, and a newborn son. The daughter is definitely Sébastien’s, and the son…well he looks just like his father: James Covington.

What they think of the Queen? Fleur’s mother was a good friend of Catherine of Aragon and Fleur a friend of Princess Mary, so it is natural that Fleur doesn’t like any of Henry’s wives. However, she tries to keep good relationship with the newest queen knowing that at this time many do not like her. But when it comes down to alliance, she will always be true to Catherine of Aragon and Princess Mary.

Personality: Fleur is the epitome of a lady. She is elegant, soft-spoken, sophisticated, and well mannered. She's kind-hearted like her father, but is not naive like him. Despite being such a lady, she’s indulged in behavior that is definitely not lady like. She’s sneaky and illusive which is how she has continued her affair with James. Though she may not be loyal with her husband, it’s very different with the other people she cares about.

Likes: Afternoon teas, walks in the garden, jewelry, her husband and her lover, clear starry nights, warm days, France, shoes, being a mother, etc.

Dislikes: Nosy people, rain and snow, her step-mother, hoop-skirts, constantly being judged, being told what she can and cannot do, etc.

Model: Clémence Poésy

“Aiden where are you?!” I hissed through the phone, trying not to be too loud since there were a few people, mostly couples making out, around me. I was standing outside on the balcony of the Hall, trying to figure out why the hell Aiden was almost two hours late.

“I’ll be there as soon as this meeting is over” Aiden said. This was the second time he had stood me up in a week, the first being our dinner date the night before. I was beyond annoyed. Sure things had gotten busier at work, but that didn’t give him an excuse.

“Yeah? You said that last night as well, but I ended up having dinner alone” I scoffed.

“I’ll be there, but I have to go now” He whispered and then hung up the phone before I could reply. I groaned softly and closed my eyes before letting out deep sigh.

“Trouble in paradise?” I heard an unfamiliar voice next to me say in a thick Spanish accent. I was already annoyed with my boyfriend and a stranger eavesdropping on my conversation made it worse.

I turned to face the man, not sure as to whom he was since his face was covered by a black and gold mask. “That’s not any of your business” I said crossing my arms.

Somehow he found it amusing as a smirk appeared on his face. “On the contrary, my mother always told me to never leave a woman in distress alone” He said as our eyes met. “Especially a beautiful one”

I blushed and smiled. “Very charming. How many women have you tried this on tonight?”

“She also taught me never lie to a woman, so you’d be the third. And third time’s the charm no?”

I smirked. “Smart lady” In just a few minutes a charming stranger had made my life a little less boring.

I learned that he had recently moved to the UES and was the son of a Spanish diplomat. I opened about my boring relationship with Aiden and our conversation lasted for almost half an hour. I looked into the ballroom for a few seconds and noticed a few familiar faces, well dresses, dancing with their dates.

He took a step closer to me and nodded. “Would you like to dance?” I was a bit skeptical at first but then agreed. It wasn’t like I was doing anything wrong, plus my date had stood me up. He placed an arm on my hip and I placed my arm on his shoulder as we held our other hands together and danced to the music. “You have beautiful eyes” He spoke quietly as he looked into my eyes.

I looked away from his gaze, feeling a bit guilty, and smiled. “You’re great at this complimenting thing” I laughed softly.

“Practice makes perfect” He winked as we continued to dance. Behind him, near the bar, I saw Ava and Vanessa who looked overly excited and were motioning for me to join them.

“Thank you for a wonderful evening, but my friends are waiting for me” I was hesitant to leave as I was actually enjoying myself.

“I will see you soon” He said with a playful smile. I looked at him with a confused look. “Because tomorrow you’re going to meet for lunch at Now…let’s say around 12 o’clock”

“How can you be so sure?” I asked laughing, he was totally full of himself, but it was kind of cute. He didn’t say anything but instead stepped closer and then kissed me. I was shocked, but what was more shocking was that I kissed him back. Before anyone noticed or worse Aiden got there, I pulled away and stood there speechless.

“Now I’m sure you’ll meet me” He whispered as I smiled up at him knowing this was the start of something good/bad. He turned in the other direction and walked away while I headed towards Ava and Vanessa who were staring straight at me with wide eyes.

“Who was that!?” Ava squealed grinning. I shrugged and Vanessa let out a small gasp.

“It definitely wasn’t Aiden, because there he comes” Vanessa said pointing to Aiden who had just entered the hall.

“Shit” I mumbled and then laughed at the mess I was getting myself into. “I’m meeting mystery man for lunch tomorrow” They were shocked and I could tell they weren’t sure if I was doing the right thing or not. We talked for a few more minutes before Aiden came and whisked me away for a dance. As we danced I noticed the same man dancing next to Aiden and I with a long haired brunette, who was too close to my liking. I had no idea why it was making me jealous, but it was. Aiden had apologized for being late and promised he wouldn’t do it again; honestly I wasn’t paying attention to him because my mind was elsewhere. Two songs later I saw Mia approaching up and I couldn’t have been happier to get away.

“Aiden, do you mind if I steal Charlotte away for a few minutes?” She asked smiling. Aiden nodded and headed towards the group of guys which included Adam, Tyler, Eli and a few others. Mia grabbed my arm and we walked over to a spot in the Hall that was fairly empty. “Ava and V just told me about what happened!” I filled her in on the events that had happened less than an hour before.

“I’m meeting him for lunch tomorrow” I said smiling. “But please don’t tell anyone” I added. In the last few weeks Mia had gotten close to Amelie but I didn’t trust her enough to let her know the details of my life. She promised and we made plans to meet up for coffee after I went to lunch with mystery man.
